It's Time - The Story Of Reinvention Part 2

These 2 episodes were a long time coming. I realized I still owe you my own Reinvention story to share and this is the 2nd part.

If you didn't catch the beginning, please go to episode 19 first, so you get to context and full scope... What shaped my life the way it is today, and what shaped me into the woman I am today? Yes, I walked a long, long way since my life in a small village in the Czech Republic.

My parents never left the country, never saw an ocean, never owned a passport, and never saw anything else than the small neighborhood they were born in. In that sense, I guess I did better. I gained perspective, learned to live in other countries, learned new languages, experienced remarkable experiences, and achieved what would be unimaginable to them.

Each of us has plenty of defining moments throughout our lives. I call them intersections - those that require a decision about which is the right path next. Some of these decisions we may face almost daily – but a few are major, and they will shape our lives going forward.

I chose 5 major shifts that forced me to reinvent whatever I knew to be true, change a course, and adapt to the cards I was dealt with. I'm grateful for those moments now, but there were times when it was hard to imagine I would survive them.

We all come to situations when we need to remind ourselves of those strong moments in our history. Especially when facing something hard, when you feel like the world is coming down on you, you're bearing all the weight, when you can't make a decision or move on. It pays to stop, sit back, and remind yourself that YES - there were super hard moments in your life before.

And not only you survived it, but you also turned it around, and found the strength to change course. And you're likely a better person for it. It will remind you of your power and influence. That's the whole reason I do this podcast - sharing stories that turned someone's life upside down - and what seemed like an impossible obstacle turned into a great new opportunity.

Today I'm sharing the remaining 3 key moments from my life (at least so far). The last one is still the hardest to adapt. I'm being an open book - no filter, emotions and all. I hope it will serve you to remember who you once were, and what you accomplished. That should always be the only reason for looking back.

Tune in tonight, and let me know what you think. If you feel inspired, please share this episode with someone who may need to hear it! I will be really grateful if you leave a review - it helps to move this podcast up in the charts. Today's show is audio only.
